POOL RULES

  • Proper swim attire is required.  No thong bathing suits.  No street clothes, cutoffs, or denim shorts are permitted in the pool, unless deemed appropriate for religious purposes.

  • All patrons must enter the pool through the locker rooms. All other entrances are for emergencies only and off-limits to non-employees.

  • Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times. Children who cannot swim must be within an arm’s reach of a parent/guardian and remain in the shallow end.

  • Only service animals permitted in Aquatic Facility.

  • Please shower before entering the pool facility, especially if sandy or dirty.

  • Please place all trash in the proper receptacles.

  • Inner tubes and rings are not allowed for use by non-swimmers. The Aquatic Staff will provide a complimentary certified lifejacket to anyone who requests one.

  • Glass containers are not allowed in the Aquatic Facility. Please eat and drink within the designated area, no food is permitted in the pool.

  • No running on the pool deck.

  • Rough play, boisterous, or indecent conduct is prohibited in the pool complex.

  • Diving is only permissible in the deep end of the pool. Backward flips or dives are prohibited.

  • Please keep all ladders and areas around ladders clear.

  • Children who are not toilet trained must wear swim diapers.

  • The pool will be closed for 30 minutes in cases of bad weather (thunder, lightning strikes, tornado warnings, etc.)

  • Balls, Frisbees, water guns and other pool toys are permissible with approval from the lifeguard.

  • Please report any preexisting medical conditions to the pool staff upon arrival. These may include but are not limited to a history of heart problems, stroke, seizure, diabetes, or fainting.

  • No weapons, drugs or alcohol permitted inside the pool facility. Bags will be checked upon entry.

  • No outside food permitted inside the pool facility. The Concession stand is available. Patrons are able to eat their own food in the parking lot or at the pavilions within the park. Re-entry is available with a wrist band.

  • No whistles are to be used by anyone other than Lifeguards.  Camp Leaders are to refrain from using whistles while in the pool area.
